Tell me a little bit about yourself.
I grew up in Cheltenham until I went to Aberystwyth University where I read Geography and played competitive rugby. I also took a PGCE in Physical Education and work as Teacher. I have worked in the Publishing, Leisure and Transport industries. I enjoy team sports, outdoor adventure & being with our huskies.

What got you into Mushing?
I’ve handled working animals for years, the thrill and exilleration you get from a sled dog team is similar to the excitement of a galloping horse, the difference is the teamwork and interaction a sled dog team requires. I love the thrill of spint racing but find the long distance treks and camping are much more rewarding and exciting dispite being more demanding and physically taxing.

Why Siberians?
Siberian Huskies are such extraordinary athletes. Their attitude and running style is quite different from other sled dog breeds and having worked Siberians I wouldn't want anything else.
