Susi was imported in October 2007 from Blake and Jennifer Freking's, Manitou Crossing Kennels, USA. Her lines are Northome/Shjegge Mann/Anadyr. Having run her while in the states she showed a great working attitude and an effortless, graceful movement. She proves the addage that good things come in small packages. She has happily rsprint raced this season on Nigel's team and is the hardest worker on our longer trips. Her father Moonshadows Naoki of Jedeye, is one of Jen and Blakes best race leaders. Leading their winning 2004 Beargrease team and the 2005 Yukon Quest. Her siblings Kotka, Kahru and Hirvi have completed a couple of Beargrease 150 races.

Susi is gentle, sweet and kind natured. She has gained confidence as she has matured and settled into the team. She usually runs in team and is the unnoticable dog, always focused and working hard. She has amazing power for a small dog and her endurance is endless. Its a beautiful sight to watch Susi run; her feet don't seem to touch the ground, she just seems to fly along the trail. She is one of the fastest dogs in the kennel and has perfect gait and movement. Susi is a calm, steady girl, she enjoys sitting quietly for cuddles as well as being in the thick of a manic play session. She is a beautiful, graceful bitch with loads of charisma.
