Ward was imported in October 2007 from Blake and Jennifer Freking's, Manitou Crossing Kennels, USA. He is from strong lines of Shjegge Mann/Alaskan's Anadyr. Having run Ward while in the States he showed a great working attitude and an desire to prove himself. He is a stunning, strong, fun loving dog, with loads of character. Wards brothers Roland and Wat ran Iditarod 2008 on Jen's team.

Ward is a brilliant wheel and team dog has matured exceptionally well in harness. He has shown some real flare and is very fast. He has a natural ability to prevent tangles and keep the gangline set. He always works hard to improve his fitness & learning and runs with determination and focus.

Ward is friendly, bouncy and very cheeky. He has a great sense of humor and is excited to play with humans and dogs alike. He enjoys cuddles and has a real soft, gentle side. Ward has good manners and loves to please. His formation and gait are beautiful as is his effortless movement. Ward's brothers just ran Iditarod 2010 on Blake's new record breaking Siberian team.

Ward ran in lead and wheel in the 8-dog Finnmarkslopet 2010, his tugline never slacked and he ate ravenously, an excellent dog!
Ward is availble at stud to suitable bitches in both the UK and Scandinavia (rest of Europe if you are prepared to travel.)
